  1. When did Kudy start operating?
  2. Kudy Financials started operations in March 2017 as a friends-and-family investment group. As referrals continued to grow, so did the number of people who wanted to join the group. Therefore, it became imperative to formally operate as a business entity. In September 2019, we secured a fund licence from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF). We started operations in Luxembourg, while an assets/funds management license from Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission was confirmed in April 2023.

  3. What is your minimum investment value?
  4. At the moment, you'll need a minimum of ₦250,000 to buy into any of our Nigerian products; and $1,000 for the dollar-denominated products. Our client experience team is available to provide you with further information.

  5. How much of my funds am I risking when I buy into any of your funds?
  6. We live in a low trust world today, therefore we promise to put you first in all of our dealings. If we cannot put our money into an investment vehicle, we will not put yours. So, while it's not in our nature to promise the best returns in the market, we assure you that the returns you will get from us will be consistent, sustainable, and repeatable over the long term.

  7. What is the minimum tenor/period I can invest for at Kudy Financials Sàrl?
  8. We have no initial lock-in period. However, certain products have a minimum holding balance. Email [email protected] for further information regarding the product of your choice.

  9. What are the associated management and hidden fees an investor should know?
  10. There are no hidden fees associated with investing at Kudy Financials. The management fee is dependent on the particular fund you are invested in. For clarity, we advice that you email [email protected] requesting a product paper for the product you're interested in, which will provide all necessary information you need to reach a decision.

  11. I wanted to invest for a year, but an emergency came up. Can I exit?
  12. You can always exit any of our investment funds before maturity. Subject to individual fund terms, a fee will be charged pro-rated. The client experience team will provide clarifications at the point of exit.

  13. When will I receive my interest payments?
  14. Our funds are non-distributive. This enables investors compound their investments over time; and we strongly encourage that. However, if you need liquidity, you can always let us know and we will liquidate part or all of your investment to meet your needs after the initial lock-in period, if there is one.

  15. Can I invest with Kudy Financials Sàrl in currencies other than the United States Dollar (USD)?
  16. You can invest in Naira(₦) only for Naira denominated products in Nigeria. For dollar denominated products, please email [email protected] for advisory in relation to options which might be available to you. However, this is NOT a guaranteed service.

  17. Will my capital invested be the same as at maturity, or will it face some depreciation?
  18. When an investor reinvests their interests, their capital invested returns higher than initial investment. This is because interests will also gain interests along with investors' initial investment. There is a slight chance that investors may lose part of their funds due to market dynamics. However, we will do everything within our power to keep the probability of that happening to the barest minimum.

  19. Can my investment be used as collateral?
  20. Yes, it can. You can use up to 85% of your investment to back up a third party loan service, fully guaranteed by Kudy. Send an email to [email protected] to access this.

  21. How can I invest with Kudy?
  22. Investing with Kudy Financials is very easy, and starts at https://kudy.io. More information is provided about our product offerings once your sign-up and the necessary Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation is complete.

  23. How can I withdraw my funds?
  24. Withdrawing your funds is easy. As an existing investor, once you login to your portal or dashboard on https://kudy.io, click on "Withdraw Funds" on the dashboard, fill the form and submit; or send an email to [email protected] with instructions. Withdrawals take a maximum of 5 (five) working days between request and receipt of funds in your bank account. Most payments are processed within 6 - 24 (six to twenty-four) hours of getting the request, depending on the volume.

  25. Can I trade my funds electronically on your platform?
  26. Existing investors can trade their funds through their dashboard electronically.

  27. Are my funds tax-exempt? If no, which taxes am I liable for?
  28. We do not provide tax advisory at the moment. Please contact your financial/tax advisor for more personalized information.

  29. How can I get my queries resolved?
  30. We are always available for queries at [email protected]. Our response time is within 12 (twelve) hours; except during bank holidays and weekends.
